I lived in Zurich for several years in the early 2000s and got to see a lot of the Zurich area, such as Lake Zurich and the surrounding areas, plus ventured to the mountains near Zurich and beyond.
Eglisau is a small town not far from Zurich and reachable by the S-Bahn train, so I took a few trips there and on one trip got some photos.
A trip to Rapperswil was always a nice option – a boat along the lake down to Rapperswil and then a train back to Zurich HB.
