At the start of 2006, I took a trip out to the Far East, seeing bits of Malaysia and Thailand. This trip started at Kuala Lumpur, or KL as the locals call it, then onto Penang, for a stay at the Blue House. Then onto Bangkok and finally to Borneo, a place I’d always wanted to visit, where I stayed in a luxurious beach hotel, just down the road from where the orangutans sanctuary was located, and feeding time for the orangutans was part of the trip!
